Nova Datacom, as a highly regarded provider of Mission Assurance and IT solutions to the federal government, is currently searching for an experienced Business Development Executive with a track record of defining and executing effective BD strategies in the Federal marketplace.
Candidates should have substantial experience in Federal sales and BD efforts involving IT solutions. Significant experience selling to or packaging deals for DoD or Civilian agencies, either directly or in conjunction with large SI’s, is required. In addition, the ability to take a leadership role in articulating and formulating BD strategy will be a key ingredient for success.
The right candidate will offer:
- A strong track record of working with sales and marketing teams to identify, qualify and close opportunities
- Ability to effectively strategize with the executive management team and report on BD status with expertise concerning pricing, technical, and strategic business considerations
- Experience and sophistication in identifying and advancing federal IT solution opportunities
- Ability to leverage and build relationships with key OEM’s and SI’s
- A current understanding of technology trends related to enterprise servers and storage, virtualization, data centers, and related integrated solutions within the Federal government
- Exceptional communication skills and the appropriate energy to pursue and close new business on behalf of a fast-growing company
Benefits are comprehensive and the compensation package for this position will include an attractive mix of incentives on top of a base salary. Incentive compensation will be tied to a combination of performance metrics.
